Embossed velvet fabric  is created through a process known as heat embossing. To produce embossed velvet, the fabric is subjected to thermal pressure with engraved with designs. This creates a textured effect on the fabric, with the embossed patterns appearing sunken or reflective.The process begins by stabilizing the velvet fabric. Heat-activated embossing powder is then applied to specific areas of the fabric. This powder is designed to melt when exposed to heat.Care must be taken not to overexpose the velvet to high temperatures. Once the embossing powder has solidified, any excess powder is removed, revealing the raised pattern on the fabric's surface.
